Unicoi County Celebrating Regions Newest Hospital

The regions newest hospital had a ribbon cutting ceremony today in Erwin, Tennessee. Ballad Health leaders and hospital administrators as well as community members gathered to celebrate the opening of Ballad Health’s Unicoi County Hospital. The 46 bed, long term care facility will feature 24 hour emergency room services, radiology and diagnostic imaging, as well as various rehabilitation services. Unicoi County Hospital will begin taking patients on Tuesday.
