Carter County Man Holds Ten People Hostage…Finally Arrested After Falling Asleep

A Carter County man remains in jail after being arrested for holding ten people, including five juveniles hostage. 21 year old Jordan Robert Reece is charged with aggravated kidnapping and especially aggravated kidnapping. Reece allegedly held the ten hostages at gunpoint from 1230 in the morning on Friday, until Reece fell asleep and two of the residents contacted law enforcement around one pm Friday and arrested Reece. Details as to why he held the group hostage is not known at this time.
