Changes Are Coming To Tennessee TNReady Testing Process
There are changes coming to Tennessee’s TNReady Assessment process, which has been plagued with numerous problems in the past. Governor Bill Haslam says the Department of Education has made significant changes already, but more are coming, including greater access to technology, smarter delivery of the assessments, faster results, and better preparation. In addition, testing for grades three and four will continue to be done on paper, instead of computer for the time being. The changes come in direct response to information gathered recently in a statewide listening tour involving teachers, testing coordinators and school administrators.
