Twelve Apply For Vacant Bristol, Virginia City Council Seat

Twelve individuals have applied for a vacant city council seat in Bristol, Virginia. City Council members will interview those applicants tomorrow in a called meeting at city hall. The twelve are applying for the seat left vacant by the ouster of former city councilman Doug Fleenor. Board members will meet again Thursday to review the applicants and plan to pick a replacement at a closed session a week from tomorrow.
