Washington County, Virginia Man Charged With Assault And Abduction

A Washington County, Virginia man is jailed today after police say he assaulted and then abducted a woman he had been in an argument with. 27 year old Nicholas Edward Neal of Glade Spring and the victim were apparently arguing along Hillman Road near Emory and Henry College. The female victim, left the scene in a car with a friend. Neal followed and cut the vehicle off and then backed into the vehicle. He got out and allegedly assaulted the driver as well as the female passenger, before forcing her into his vehicle. Neal was captured a while later after being spotted by Marion Police. He’s charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of Abduction.
