Johnson City Commission to Hold Land Vote
The Johnson City Commission is to a hold a third and final vote Thursday on a controversial proposal to rezone a piece of land near the mall at Johnson City.
If passed the measure would rezone property along Mockingbird Lane to allow the construction of a new apartment complex.
Members of the surrounding area have voiced concerns of increased traffic in the area should the proposal move forward.
The developer argues that the road is essential to the long term vision of interconnectivity in the area.
