Johnson City Commissioners Approve Controversial Rezoning Plan

Johnson City Commissioners have voted to rezone a controversial piece of property near The Mall in Johnson City. By a four to one vote, commissioners agreed to move forward with rezoning of land along Mockingbird Lane that will allow for construction of an apartment complex and a new road through the area. Many residents in attendance had concerns about the amount of traffic the new road will bring to the neighborhood.
