Police In Elizabethton Looking For Gunman After Shooting In Parking Lot

Elizabethton Police continue their investigation into an early Sunday morning shooting that leaves one injured and the suspect at large. Police Chief Jason Shaw says the incident took place in the Walmart parking lot on Over Mountain Drive around seven a.m. Police believe the shooter wasn’t along at the time of the shooting which sent the victim to the hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Chief Shaw says there is no ongoing threat to anyone.
