Man Wanted In Connection To Kingsport Hotel Shooting Captured

The man wanted in Kingsport in connection with a hotel shooting last month has been captured by Mount Carmel Police. 20 year old Mark Harold of Kingsport is accused of shooting a man at the Super 8 Hotel early last month. The victim and his wife were staying at the hotel when they saw a man beating a woman. The husband attempted to help the beating victim, but was shot several times in the back. His injuries were non life threatening. Harold was arrested after Mount Carmel Police pulled over a car he was a passenger in.Harold is charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated assault, and felony reckless endangerment.
