Man Dies in Fatal Crash Involving VDOT Snow Plow

A fatal crash involving a VDOT snow plow is under investigation by the Virginia State Police.

29-year-old Randall Looney of Maxie, Virginia was traveling on Route 460 when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck the snow plow, this according to a report from the VSP.

The plow truck driver was uninjured while Looney was pronounced dead at the scene. The report noted that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
