Police Seeking Man Who Pulled Knife on Walmart Associate

A man attempting to wheel nearly $1,000 worth of goods out of the front door of the Kingsport Walmart pulled a knife on a worker trying to stop him.

It happened on Sunday just after 10:30 a.m at the store located on 2500 West Stone Drive, according to a report from the Kingsport Police Department.

When confronted the suspect reached into the cart and pulled a knife out. He removed it from the packaging and allegedly raised it in a threatening manner.

He would eventually put down the knife and exit the store. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked contact police at (4230 229-9429.
