Motorcyclist Charged With Rear End Crash, That Injures Him And Closes Section Of Highway 36 For Hours
Charges are pending against the driver of a motorcycle that rear ended a pickup truck on Highway 36 Wednesday evening that closed a section of that roadway for most of the evening. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a pickup truck being driven by 46 year old Wayne Byron of Kingpsort stopped for traffic near Glendora Drive on state route 36 in Sullivan County. Byron’s pickup was hit from behind by a motorcycle being driven by 39 year old Douglas McFall, Jr of Morristown. Byron was not injured, but McFall was transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries at this time. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says charges are pending against McFall.
