Police Arrest Two Juveniles Who Steal Motorcyles from Johnson City Bike Shop
Two juveniles accused of stealing motorcycles from a Johnson City bike shop ride their way to jail.
A report from the Johnson City Police Department says officers responded to a call from Jim’s Motorcycle Sales on West Market Street in reference to a burglary. Investigators discovered that the two juvenile men forcibly entered the store and took five motorcycles.
Both juveniles each left on a motorcycle, and police apprehended the suspects a short time later. The three additional bikes were recovered near the business according to police.
The two men were arrested on charges of one count of burglary, one count of theft over $10,000, and four counts of theft over $1,000.
The juveniles were taken to the Johnson City Juvenile Detention Center and face arraignment Wednesday.
