Teenage Mother Puts Baby In Abandoned Freezer

A 19 year old mother in Johnson City has been arrested after she was seen placing her baby in an old freezer located in a neighbors backyard. 19 year old Brittany Smith is charged with child abuse, and burglary. A home owner happened to look at the window of the home and witnessed Smith putting the eight month old infant inside the abandoned freezer. The infant was taken to a hospital and is said to be ok. Meanwhile, Smith will appear in court this coming Monday.
