Multi Vehicle Crash Sends Three To Hospital…Including Carter County Deputy

A multi vehicle crash in Elizabethton on Thursday sends three to the hospital, including a Carter County Deputy.The crash happened on U.S. Highway 321 as a Honda Accord was traveling west and struck an Impala head on. Then in a chain reaction, Carter County deputy Joshua Hopkins’ cruiser hit the Impala. The deputy’s cruiser was then hit by another vehicle. 40 year old Misty Hardin of Johnson City was transported to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment. Deputy Hopkins and 21 year old Sara Kyle of Elizabethton were also taken to a local hospital as well. There conditions are not known at this time and the investigation is continuing.
