Former Sullivan North Teacher Who Became Sick Due to Mold Infestation Suing Sullivan County School System

A former teacher at Sullivan North High School has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the Sullivan County school system after he says he got sick due to mold inside the school.

He also claims the school system put students in danger by covering up a mold infestation issue.

Michael Upchurch is seeking three million dollars in compensator damages and 18 million dollars in punitive damages from the county’s education department.
