Tazewell County Body Found Over The Weekend…Now Identified

Tazewell County Virginia Sheriff’s authorities have identified the body of a man found over the weekend. According to Sheriff’s officials the body found in a wooded section of Stoney Ridge is that of Arthur J. Muncy. Muncy was reported missing several days ago and was discovered Saturday by a search team out of Tazewell County. Investigators are looking into the events leading up to the time Muncy entered the woods. A medical examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
