Resident Escapes Intense Mobile Home Fire

A Johnson City resident escaped injury after their mobile home caught fire late Monday evening. Firefighters responded to the blaze, which heavily damaged the mobile home on Ashley Road off of Greenwood Drive. The only person at home at the time of the fire managed to escape safely, but the mobile home was heavily damaged. Meanwhile, the intense heat caused the siding of an adjacent mobile home to melt as firefighters battled the blaze around nine o’clock Monday evening. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
