Virginia Conducting Statewide Tornado Drill Tuesday Morning
Virginia is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Tuesday morning.
The Virginia State Emergency Communications Committee and National Weather Service along with the Emergency Alert System will conduct a test Tuesday at 9:45 A.M.
The National Weather Service will send a test warning over NOAA weather radios, TV stations, and cable outlets around 9:45.
Among the cities participating in the drill include Abingdon.
In the case of severe weather impacting the Commonwealth State Tuesday, the test will be moved to Wednesday March 20th at the same time.
