No FEMA Funding For Northeast Tennessee Flood Damaged Counties

If you received flood damage from last months flooding in the region, you will be on your own for costs of any repairs to your property. Tennessee’s Emergency Management Agency announces it will only request assistance for five counties, none in northeast Tennessee. Hawkins County was one of the hardest hit counties in the region with one home being destroyed by flooding. The counties receiving assistance had at least 25 homes declared destroyed.
