No Injuries After Fifteen Car Train Derailment In Rural Retreat

Railroad officials with Norfolk Southern Railways are not sure what caused a train with fifteen, empty intermodal cars to derail in Wythe County Saturday. The train was enroute to Bristol from Roanoke when it ran off the tracks in Rural Retreat, in Wythe County. No injuries were reported and the cleanup is ongoing.
