Hawkins Man Breaks Into Home, Allegedly Beats, Then Robs Victim

A Hawkins County man recently arraigned on charges he broke into a home, beat the victim with a knife and tire tool and robbed him will appear in court later this week. 23 year old Timothy Aaron Cole, according to a witness, broke into the home on Tunnel Hill Road, Cole then allegedly attacked the occupant, beating him with the knife and tire tool and then fled away in a vehicle. Cole was arrested a few days later at his home where he was additionally charged with possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Cole is being held in the Hawkins County Detention Center on a thirty thousand dollar bond and is to be in court this Wednesday.
