Alabama to Headline First Concert at New Thunder Valley Amphitheater at Bristol Dragway

A new and innovative concert venue designed to attract some of the biggest names in music is coming to Bristol Dragway, and the announcement of the first show happened Monday afternoon.

Alabama along with special guest John Michael Montgomery will headline the first show, and as for the idea behind this new concert venue, Bristol Motor Speedway General Manager Jerry Caldwell had this to say.

“It’s been a year in the making at least maybe more. Just evaluating we had some folks from that industry to help us decide layout, what works, and what makes sense, and everyone that has seen it, shook their head and said yeah this is a natural.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. And will be sold through Bristol Dragway’s ticket office or online at ticketmaster.com.
