Greene County Authorities Find Body In Nolichuckey River

Greene County Authorities are reporting a dead body has been found in the Nolichucky River Sunday evening. The Sheriff’s office received the call around seven thirty after a boater said they found the body in the river near Birds Bridge boat ramp on Asheville Highway. The body is that of a white male but has not yet been identified. An autopsy is being performed at the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center in Johnson City.
