Sidewalk Widening To Accommodate Pedestrian Traffic In Bristol

And a sidewalk widening project designed to accommodate outdoor dining opportunities in downtown Bristol will block street parking along sixth street. Work begins Monday on Sixth Street and will widen the sidewalk by about five feet providing restaurants and cafes with room for outdoor dining spaces. Structures will be installed to make it possible for pedestrian only traffic during special events. The project is expected to be complete by this August.
