Jonesborough Woman Attempts to Evade Police, Crashes into Deck of Former Tupelo Honey Restaurant
A Jonesborough woman is facing charges after attempting to evade police that results in her crashing into the deck of the former Tupelo Honey restaurant.
Johnson City Police say they attempted to stop Krystal Davis, 35, Sunday night near West State of Franklin Road, but the woman refused to stop, accelerating away at a high rate of speed before crashing into the deck of Tupelo Honey. She was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries before being formally arrested on numerous charges. Her charges include evading arrest, driving on a revoked license multiple, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and violation of the light law.
She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and is being held on a $12,000 bond. She goes for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court today at 1:30 P.M.
