Washington County, VA Deputies Investigating String of Mailbox Vandalisms

The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on recent mailbox vandalism in the area.

According to the office, seven roads including Loves Mill Road, Delmar Road, Piper Road, Blue Springs Road, Limestone Drive, McCann Road and Zion Church Road in Washington County are reporting vandalisms to neighborhood mailboxes. Because of this, the county is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

“Our agency takes these crimes seriously as a number of the victims are elderly and are unable to physically repair or replace their mailboxes,” stated Sheriff Newman.
