CCSO Arrest Two in Hampton On Drug, Theft Charges
Two women are facing charges after Carter County deputies find a license plate to be stolen and methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Lacey Johnson, 20, and Cambrean Presnell, 26, are charged with possession of Schedule II for resale and possession of drug paraphenalia. Presnell is facing an additional charge of theft. Deputies located a suspicious vehicle in a Hampton McDonalds parking lot, and after running the tag plate, it was found to be stolen. The two women allowed for authorities to search the vehicle, and several bags of methamphetamine were discovered in the car, and additionally marijuana and meth were found on Presnell.
Both were arrested and taken to the Carter County jail. Presnell is being held on a $29,000 bond, and Johnson is being held on a $25,000 bond.
