Tennessee Gearing Up For Tax-Free Weekend Starting Friday
Shoppers in Tennessee will pay a little bit less at the cash register this weekend.
Tennessee’s once a year tax free weekend kicks off Friday and is open to anyone in the United States who wants to shop in the Volunteer State, not just Tennessee residents. The Tennessee Department of Revenue says shoppers can save as much as 10 percent on over 150 items, and tax will not be taken on items that costs $100 and less, as well as computer that cost less than $1,500.
The tax free weekend ends on Sunday night.
