Accused Kidnapper’s Case Moving Forward

A judge has found enough evidence to move a case forward involving a man who is accused of violently attacking and kidnapping a a college student who was selling books door to door. Steve Collins of Bristol Tennessee is accused of kidnapping the female suspect, then assaulting her while she was conducting a sales call at Collin’s residence on Lynwood Street. Collins left the house to hide the 20 year old victim’s bike, and while he was gone was able to escape and call 911. Collins remains in jail and the victim continues to recover from her injuries.
