Remote Area Medical Hosting Clinic at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in November

Remote Area Medical has announced it will hold a clinic this November at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray.

The group said Monday at a press conference that the clinic will be held from November 1st to November 3rd. The RAM clinic provides free dental, vision, and medical care to people in need. This announcement comes just weeks after RAM announced it would end its annual visits to Wise County, Virginia due to focusing on other underserved areas in the U.S. RAM says groups like the Health Wagon in Clintwood are filling in the coverage gaps for patients they once served.

RAM will also have a clinic held in Lee County September 21-22 at Lee High School.
