Kingsport Man Accused of Hitting and Killing Pedestrian While Intoxicated Has Case Bound Over to Grand Jury
A Kingsport man accused of vehicular homicide in the death of a Rocky Mount, Virginia woman in June has his case bound over to a grand jury.
Joseph Dick, 60, is facing seven charges related to the incident that occurred on the night of June 14th, when Dick allegedly struck pedestrian Brenda Tyree while she was crossing the street. Tyree later succumbed to her injuries, and Dick, who drove away from the scene, was located a few hours later at his residence on Warpath Drive.
He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Sullivan County Criminal Court October 11th.
