DEVELOPING: One dead following officer-involved shooting in Bluff City

One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Sullivan County.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed the shooting took place in the 900 block of Silver Grove Road in Bluff City. That follows reports of a lengthy police pursuit reported earlier in Bristol, Tennessee. This is the second officer-involved shooting in Sullivan County in the past seven months.
