Ballad Health Physician Practices Reduce Charges

Ballad Health has increased the number of patients who are eligible for charity care above the threshold the company reported before the merger in 2018. In a press release the health care provider says this means a 17 percent overall average decrease in professional fees for Ballad Health physicians. The adjusted pricing took effect September first. Ballad Health officials say the company continues to move toward a standardized price structure across the Ballad Health Medical Associates.
