Authorities Locate Hit And Run Vehicle And Driver In Greene County

In an update to a story we first told you about earlier on Thursday, authorities in Greeneville have located the vehicle and the driver involved in a crash that sent one person to the hospital. Greeneville Police tell us in a Press Release that Melba Rice of Afton Tennessee is now charged with leaving the scene of a crash with injuries and possibly other charges. Rice will appear in Greene County Sessions Court on Friday. Police responded to the accident at the intersection of East Andrew Johnson Highway and Harlan Street around eight thirty Thursday morning.
