UPDATE: Tennessee health officials confirm six patients with symptoms of respiratory illness linked to vaping
Since putting out a notice looking for patients last month, the Tennessee Department of Health reported the state now has six cases of a respiratory illness related to vaping.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has officially labeled the sickness an outbreak in the US after the deaths of three people and 450 potential cases being diagnosed in 33 states. The CDC is recommending people quit using e-cigarettes until a source of the sickness in pinpointed.
