Property owner objects to proposed RV park in Bristol
“I’m appalled at the arrogance that he or anyone else would think that they could get property rezoned under that guise of going to put in an RV park.”
Bristol Virginia homeowner Loretta Trayer voicing her opposition to a proposal to have 19 acres located along Long Crescent Road rezoned from family to business purposes for a proposed park that would include camping and overnight cabins.
The planning commission could render a decision in the coming weeks but Trayer, who has lived at Long Crescent for 37 years, says several residents are fearful of what the proposed business could do.
“They’re threatening my safety. They’re threatening my property. They will devalue my property greatly,” she told SuperTalk.
