Mobile Home Destroyed in Thursday Morning Fire

An early morning fire in Carter County has destroyed a mobile home.

The Hampton Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Department says crews were called to a mobile home on fire around 2:30 Thursday morning at the 400 block of Wilbur Dam Road. No one was at the home during the fire, however, one firefighter was treated for a hand laceration. Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the call, and the scene was cleared around 4:15 a.m.
