Friday Morning Crash in Kingsport Under Investigation

Kingsport Police are investigating a Friday morning crash that caused utility lines to go down and road closures.

Authorities say they were working the scene of a crash around 2:45 Friday morning at the roundabout on Watauga Street and East Ravine Road. The crash brought down utility poles and closed the road for nearly 5 hours. The roadway is back open, however, no further details were provided into the accident as the investigation is ongoing.
