Kingsport Man Arrested In Johnson City After High Speed Chase…Crashes Vehicle

A Kingsport man is arrested after leading Johnson City Police on a high speed chase down several one way streets and nearly crashing his vehicle. 23 year old David Chapman of Redwood Drive in Kingsport was spotted traveling at a high rate of speed in the downtown area nearly crashing before speeding away again, running a red light and traveling the wrong way on several one way streets. Chapman, then crashed his vehicle and was arrested. No injuries were reported and Chapman has a court date set for October 21 in Washington County Tennessee.
