Four United Way Member Agencies Receiving Funding To Assist Homeless In Kingsport
As Kingsport continues to work on a downtown homeless situation, four local agencies that address the homeless in Kingsport are more than halfway through the United Way of Greater Kingsport’s annual fundraising campaign. The Salvation Army, Hope Haven, Family Promise and Safe House all receive funding from Kingsport’s United Way. And this year the agency is going a step further. Danielle Glasscock is United Way’s Executive Director.

This years United Way goal is three and a half million dollars. The campaign has raised sixty percent of that goal with the fundraising expected to be finalized by mid November.
