Tri Cities Employers Add 25 Hundred Jobs In August
Despite figures showing the Tri Cities’ August and July job performance as the lowest in five years, the Tri Cities labor market added 25 hundred non farm jobs in August. The report released by DonFenley.Com indicates August as the beginning of the rebound from the seasonal jobs slump. But a slower growth rate doesn’t mean the labor market isn’t improving. The report goes on to say, in fact, that the labor market continues its crawl toward recovery from the Great Recession status. The August unemployment rate dropped to three point nine percent.
