Bristol, VA School Board Leaders Scheduled to Discuss Proposed Washington Lee Site at Monday Meeting
The Bristol, Virginia school board plans to further discuss a proposed plan for a new central elementary school location during its meeting this evening.
According to tonight’s agenda, leaders will present a plan for the recommended site of Washington Lee Elementary, which includes demographic breakdown of students and estimated cost of construction. During a joint meeting with City Council last week, Superintendent Keith Perrigan recommended moving forward with the Washington Lee project, which would combine students currently attending Washington Lee and Highland View elementary under one roof.
The meeting takes place tonight at 6:00 p.m.
