Warming Shelter Scheduled to Open Tuesday Afternoon in Greene County, TN

A warming shelter is opening in Greene County, TN on Tuesday afternoon.

Frigid temperatures forecasted for the day into Wednesday morning are expected to drop into the 20s and the teens. The Greene County, TN Emergency Management says Opportunity House, located at 205 North Irish Street is opening at 4 p.m.

If this warming shelter reaches capacity, a second shelter will also open.
