Active Shooter Class Being Offered To Public By Bristol Tennessee Police
Avoid, Deny, Defend. That strategy is being used to teach an upcoming civilian active shooter response class in Bristol Tennessee. Research and experience shows that hiding and playing dead are not always effective tactics for survival in an active shooter situation. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events was developed by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center at Texas State University. The class is free to the public, but participants are asked to register for the class that’s being Tuesday November 19 from six to 730 pm at Tennessee High School.
