Sullivan County Commissioners To Form Committee On Consolidated Services

Next week Sullivan County Commissioners will decide whether or not to form a committee to study cooperation by Kingsport, Bristol, Bluff City, and Sullivan County for the purpose of reducing expenses and saving money. Commissioner Angie Stanley is sponsoring the resolution.

(:15)…we would make a list and everybody come together and just make a list of all the services we provide and get with those departments and come up with some facts and figures and I think that would give us something to start with.

The committee would consist of six members made up of three county commissioners and one each from Kingsport, Bristol, and Bluff City.
