UPDATE: Group invites volunteers to join in search for missing Unicoi County man

Organizers are planning to join law enforcement this weekend in the continuing search for a Unicoi County restaurant manager who has not been seen in almost three weeks.

The group took to social media to announce Saturday’s search for Luc Vance. His last known whereabouts were in the Marbleton community around midnight on Oct. 29 after he got home from work. Search teams have combed the woods on foot and even horseback with no results.

Sheriff Mike Hensley says his department is in constant contact with the family and he is asking for any information that could lead to Vance’s discovery.

Interested search volunteers are asked to meet at Marbleton Freewill Baptist Church at 10 a.m.
