Letter Found of Missing Unicoi Man Suggests He Had Plans to Harm Himself

Investigators in Unicoi County say they have a found a letter that suggests missing man Luc Vance was planning to harm himself.

Sheriff Mike Hensley gave an update Friday evening that says they found the four page letter locked in a safe just a few days after Luc went missing. Hensley says the letter was in Vance’s handwriting and referenced the people he loved. Luc Vance has been missing since last month when last contact was made with him in the Marbleton community.

Hensley said the investigation will continue. Anyone with information on this case should contact the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office.
