Kingsport, Johnson City, Bristol City Schools Show Increases In Academic Achievement
Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol City Schools are performing above the state average when it comes to measuring academic achievement. Those scores determine whether students are succeeding at or above grade level from year to year. Johnson City’s score of 56 percent led the way in the Tri Cities. Dobyns-Bennett received a score of just over 46 percent and Bristol scoring slightly more than 44 percent.
