Tazewell County, City of Norton adds to list of 2nd amendment sanctuaries in Virginia
Two more Southwest Virginia localities have added their names to the ever growing list of 2nd amendment sanctuaries across the state.
On Tuesday, the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors and Norton, VA City Council both gave approval to resolutions, which now makes nearly every county in the region 2nd amendment sanctuaries. Other counties to approval similar resolutions include Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Washington, and Wythe counties. These areas have made declarations ahead of the 2020 General Assembly with bills looming that they say could infringe on their 2nd amendment rights as its written in the constitution.
